Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: October 14, 2025
Introduction
StackIt (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a digital money management platform that allows users to create and manage shared or individual financial accounts called “Stacks.” Each Stack can be used to save, contribute, or spend toward specific goals. By accessing or using StackIt, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
⸻
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents or legal guardians may create and manage Stacks on behalf of a minor and are fully responsible for all associated activity.
⸻
Account Creation and Access
Users may fund their StackIt account through approved payment methods, including linked bank accounts via Plaid, debit cards, and digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay or Google Pay, when available). Credit card funding is restricted to approved use cases and may include processing fees.
Identity verification and authentication are facilitated through trusted partners, including Privy, Plaid, Array, Jiko, and MoonPay (for crypto-related transactions).
⸻
Use of Funds
Funds added to a StackIt account are used solely for personal or shared financial goals. StackIt does not directly hold or invest customer funds. All deposits are securely held by regulated banking partners such as Jiko.
StackIt does not pay interest or dividends to users. Certain Stacks may offer crypto-based rewards tied to spending or saving activity. Reward structures, availability, and value are subject to change based on market conditions, vendor pricing, and program costs.
Crypto-related services are provided through MoonPay or other third-party partners. These services are subject to their own terms, fees, and regulatory compliance. Crypto values are volatile, and users assume all associated risks.
⸻
Transfers and Withdrawals
Transfers are initiated within the StackIt app and processed through our financial partners. All transactions comply with applicable federal and state regulations, as well as NACHA rules. StackIt is not responsible for processing delays or errors caused by third-party institutions.
⸻
Prohibited Activities
StackIt may not be used for any illegal, high-risk, or commercial transactions, including (but not limited to):
• Money laundering or terrorism financing.
• Fraudulent or unauthorized transfers.
• Gambling or speculation-based payments.
• Resale or misuse of StackIt services.
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
⸻
Fees
StackIt may charge service, transaction, or network fees when applicable. All fees will be disclosed prior to completing a transaction. External vendors (such as MoonPay or Plaid) may also charge fees based on their respective policies.
⸻
Data and Privacy
StackIt uses end-to-end encryption and secure protocols to protect your personal and financial data. Information shared with our vendors (Array, Plaid, Privy, Jiko, MoonPay) is used only to facilitate identity verification, financial transfers, and other necessary functions of the platform.
We do not sell or share personal data with unaffiliated third parties. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.
⸻
Limitation of Liability
StackIt and its partners are not liable for losses resulting from:
• User error or unauthorized account activity.
• Third-party service disruptions, outages, or delays.
• Market volatility or value loss in crypto assets.
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
In no event shall StackIt’s total liability exceed the amount of fees paid by the user in the prior 12 months.
⸻
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or partner policies. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@stackit.cash.
⸻
Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of StackIt after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
⸻
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
